The Williamson Open 2024

Williamson Art Gallery’s much-loved annual exhibition The Williamson Open will return for 2024 with newly expanded entrance criteria.

For 60 years the Williamson Open has celebrated the talents of artists with connections to the Wirral peninsula. In recognition of the plethora of artistic talent within the wider Liverpool City Region of which we are part, however, we have decided that it’s time to extend the eligibility criteria to all artists working in or with connections to Wirral, Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton and St Helens.

The Williamson Open accepts paintings, sculptures, printmaking, drawing and photography.

Entries to the 2024 Open will be accepted Thursday 11th – Saturday 13th January 2024. Full details about how to submit and an application for are available online.

The exhibition will run 16th February – 16th March 2024.
